Gold, without the shine

A matte gold G Wagon rental is for the moments when the car is part of the plan. The flat finish softens the gold so it reads rich rather than loud, and it catches light along every hard edge of the G-Class body. In Los Angeles, it turns heads on Rodeo Drive and outside the clubs of West Hollywood alike. It is a color you will not find on many other G-Wagons on the road, so it photographs as something personal rather than something rented.

It is still a full AMG G63. The hand-built twin-turbo 4.0L V8 makes 577 hp, gets to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and runs on to 149 mph. The exhaust exits just ahead of the rear wheels, so the sound reaches the curb before you do. Three locking differentials sit underneath, a reminder that this showpiece is still a real G-Class.

Birthdays, launches and celebrations

This is the G63 to book for a 30th birthday, a bachelorette weekend, a brand launch or a night on the Sunset Strip. With five seats, the whole group rides together and arrives at once. The gold really comes alive after dark, under the neon and street lights along Sunset Boulevard, and it looks just as good in daylight photos on a Hollywood Hills overlook. If your plans center on nightlife, our West Hollywood page covers the area.

Delivery for the night or the week

MACH can bring the gold G63 to your hotel before an event, to your home for the week, or to LAX when you land. Prefer to collect it? Pickup from MACH works too. Timing and location are confirmed with each request, so tell the team when you need to be out the door and they plan around it. Keep the conversation in one text thread from first question to return. See every color on the G-Wagon rental page.
