A Weekend Exotic Car Rental in Los Angeles: The 3-Day Plan
Three days is the sweet spot for an exotic car rental in Los Angeles. You get time for the drives that matter, and the daily rate drops. Here is how to plan it.

A single day in an exotic car goes fast. By the time you have learned the controls and found the right road, it is time to hand the keys back. A weekend gives you time to actually enjoy it, and in Los Angeles, a weekend exotic car rental lines up perfectly with how MACH prices longer rentals.
This guide covers why three days is the sweet spot, which cars suit a weekend, a simple three-day plan for driving around Los Angeles and what it costs.
Why three days is the sweet spot
Rates on the site are daily 24-hour rates. For longer rentals, every 3 days of rental lowers the daily rate by $100, never more than 25% off. That means a Friday-to-Monday rental is the first point where the price per day drops.
- A Porsche 911 Cabriolet listed at $595 per day is $495 per day for 3 days: $1,485 in total.
- A Mercedes-AMG G63 listed at $695 per day is $595 per day for 3 days: $1,785 in total.
- A Lamborghini Urus S listed at $1,095 per day is $995 per day for 3 days: $2,985 in total.
Rates shown are listed rates at the time of writing. Each car page shows the live rate and works out the multi-day price for you.
Choosing a car for the weekend
Think about who is coming and what the weekend is for.
For two people who love to drive
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the McLaren 750S or the Corvette Z06. These are cars for canyon roads and early mornings. The Corvette Z06, with 670 horsepower, is listed at $595 per day at the time of writing, which makes it the most affordable way into a true supercar weekend.
For the roof down
The Porsche 911 Cabriolet seats four and is easy to live with. The Audi R8 Spyder adds a V10. For more open-top options, read our guide to convertibles on PCH.
For friends, family or shopping bags
A G63, a Lamborghini Urus or a Range Rover gives you five seats and room for luggage. Our luxury SUV guide compares them.

A three-day plan for Los Angeles
This is a suggestion, not a script. Traffic in Los Angeles changes everything, so start early when you can.
Day 1: arrival and the city
Have the car brought to your home or your hotel, or meet it at LAX when you land. Spend the afternoon on the classic city drives: Sunset Boulevard through West Hollywood, then the streets of Beverly Hills. In the evening, take the car up to Mulholland Drive for the view over the city.
Day 2: the coast
Head west to Santa Monica and onto the Pacific Coast Highway toward Malibu. Go early on a weekend morning to avoid the beach traffic. Stop for lunch on the water and come back as the sun goes down. This is the day for a convertible.
Day 3: the canyons or a slow morning
If you picked a driver's car, the canyon roads above Malibu and the Angeles Crest Highway reward an early start. Drive within the law and within your limits; tickets during the rental are your responsibility. If you picked an SUV, spend the morning on brunch and shopping, then plan your return.

Before the weekend
- Get verified early. Upload your driver's license and proof of full coverage insurance through Check eligibility. It is done once, and it makes the booking faster. Our requirements guide explains every step.
- Plan the deposit. Every car uses the same refundable security deposit, currently $1,500.
- Know the return time. Late return can be deducted from the deposit. If your plans change, text the team early.
- Plan parking. Low cars like the McLaren and the GT3 RS need care on steep driveways and in parking ramps. Valet at your hotel is often the easiest option; read about hotel delivery.
How to book your weekend
- Open the car you want and press Book now. Choose Friday to Monday to see the 3-day rate.
- Or text (714) 904-7552 with your dates and where you want the car.
- The team confirms the car, the rate and your insurance, and you sign the rental agreement.
Nothing is a confirmed reservation until a MACH representative confirms and you sign the rental agreement. Weekends are popular, so send your request as early as you can.
